Five Excellent Gelatin Masks for Healthy Hair

Their common ingredient is gelatin which will make your hair not only strong but also soft. If you prefer natural cosmetics, then try one of these hair mixtures to treat your faded hair without going anywhere.

It is not a secret that many women try to make their hair look perfect through lamination. To laminate hair, one can use gelatin. Proteins contained in this powder are supposed to renovate the hair from its root to the end. Apply one of the bellowed-mentioned mixtures at least twice a month to have adorable hair. Don’t go too far with these recipes; otherwise, you are likely to overdry your hair.

Take note that this kind of masks is non vegetarian since you have to use animal gelatin. There is no sense in substituting animal gelatin with agar, for example, as it doesn’t contain any proteins, and to be healthy, you hair needs protein.

Ingredients:

  •    1 tbsp powdered gelatin;
  •    1 tbsp hair conditioner;
  •    10 tbsp hot water.

This recipe is a perfect choice for beginners. From the jump, dissolve gelatin in water. Once the mixture is cooled down, it is time to add the conditioner. Spread the mask onto your hair, including the ends. In the case of oily hair, don’t use it on the roots. Thirty minutes later wash it out.

Ingredients:

  •    1 tbsp powdered gelatin;
  •    ½ cup heated up water;
  •    1 tbsp apple cider vinegar.

Many women like this mask because it is not only effective but also cheap and easy to prepare. Combine all ingredients and mix the mixture until smooth. Once it is cooled down, spread it onto your hair, including the ends. Put on a shower cap and keep it for thirty-forty minutes.

Ingredients:

  •    1 tbsp powdered gelatin;
  •    10 tbsp hot water;
  •    one egg yolk.

Another mask is a balanced combination of gelatin and an egg yolk. Both ingredients are incredibly rich in proteins. Once cooled down, spread the mask onto your hair and cover your head with a cap. Wait for thirty minutes before you wash it out.

Ingredients:

  •    1 tbsp powdered gelatin;
  •    1 tbsp olive oil;
  •    ½ cup water.

This mixture works for nourishing and restoring your hair. Those with greasy hair should use the mask on nothing but their hair ends. To make the mix, combine heated up water with other ingredients in a bowl and stir them well. Before applying the mask, wait until gelatin is dissolved and the mixture is cooled down. Wait for a half an hour before washing it out.

Ingredients:

  •    1 tbsp powdered gelatin;
  •    ½ cup regular milk.

Heat up milk and take it off before boiling. Mix it with gelatin. Stir all ingredients until smooth. Give the mask some time to get cold. Afterwards, spread the mixture onto your hair, including the ends. Put on a cap and wait for thirty minutes.

If your mask happens to be dense and hard to spread onto your hair, then you should pour more liquid into the bowl and stir the mixture better. Another solution is to moisten your hair before applying the mask. Do not overuse any of these recipes. Two or three sessions a month is just fine for your hair to look perfect.
