Begin with the fruits and vegetables and from the sixth or seventh day, start with the fish and chicken. Add other vegetables and fruits in the long run.

WATERCRESS SOUP RECIPE

The watercress soup diet is easy to prepare for regular intake. Here are some things you will need to make the soup:

  • 1 Chopped onion
  • 2 ½ pints chicken stock/water
  • 2 diced potatoes
  • 3 watercress bunches with removed stems
  • Salt and pepper according to taste

Method: Add three tablespoons of chicken stock or water with the chopped onion and cook for a few seconds. Add potatoes with the crock and the seasoning. Then wait till the water boils and simmer and the potatoes become soft. Put in the watercress and stir for about three to four minutes (maximum). Remove the ingredients from the stove and pour in the blender to blend. When it is liquidized then pour in a metal bowl and place ice under it to cool down and let it maintain the taste.

SAMPLE MENU FOR THE WEEK

Day 1: Eat the soup with fruits and skimmed milk or fat-free yogurt

Day 2: Consume the soup with additional vegetables and milk/yogurt

Day 3: Add in milk/yogurt, fruits and vegetables, and the watercress soup, of course

Day 4: Consume soup, 5 bananas and milk/yogurt

Day 5: Add in fish and skinless chicken with the soup (use fresh tomatoes) and milk/yogurt

Day 6: Do the same as day fifth day as well but add in vegetables too (especially tomatoes)

Day 7: Repeat what you had on the third day
