Lose Weight with the Watercress Soup Diet

According to the researches, it has been proven that watercress can also help in losing weight as it is rich in nutrients. Watercress can be used in a soup diet. However, this soup diet might not be a good option for everyone so consulting your doctor to know your body would be best before going for it.

It is not always right to eat simple vegetables and the same soup over and over again. You can add other vegetables with the watercress soup to make it slightly different from the plain taste. Consuming just the soup is not a good idea so keep taking fruits like melons, grapefruit, pineapples, apples, oranges and kiwi in your diet. Not only this, also consume fat-free yogurt or milk with it. Increase the consumption of carrots, broccoli, asparagus, lettuce, cabbage, and beans.

Consume the soup, the fruits and the vegetables as much as you can. But make sure you consume no starch items. Add in fish and chicken to your soup as well. The milk you use should be skimmed. Begin with the fruits and vegetables and from the sixth or seventh day, start with the fish and chicken. Add other vegetables and fruits in the long run.
